Odd scheduling for State-Wake

North Carolina plays at Duke on Wednesday, and usually the ACC steers clear of scheduling other games right next to that marquee event.
But Wednesday, Wake Forest is at N.C. State at 7 p.m.
Seven p.m.? Now, even State fans want to see the Duke-Carolina game, so having that event start at 7, and end when Duke-Carolina starts, is odd. The ACC didn't do State any favors when it put that contest right in front of the league's headliner.
Makes it seem like the JV contest, doesn't it?

RE: Odd scheduling for State-Wake
I do not get the feel of a JV contest at all. I have no qualms about the game starting at 7, and the Duke/UNC game at 9. All four schools should play each other on the same day every year, like the Dixie Classic. If anything made it seem like a JV contest it was the over-the-top reporting from WRAL last night. Did we really need to go back and forth live to see Franklin St? Did we really need to cut in to show both coaches press conferences? If this were the NCAA tournament then I would understand, but it was just a regular season game. A couple of highlights from the NCSU/Wake game versus the non-stop coverage on the 11 news made it seem like a JV contest. Thanks
