1) UNC (24-3)-The Heels need their player of the year candidate (Lawson) to get the ball to their former player of the year (Hansbrough) more if they want to make sure they are in Detroit.

2) Duke (23-5)-The more you watch Elliot Williams the more you have wonder, WHAT TOOK SO LONG!

3) Clemson (22-5)-Tigers need to start playing like Tommy Bowden’s job depends on it if they want a good seed come selection Sunday. Just 3-3 since the big win over Duke.

4) Wake Forest (21-5)-If only they could play all home games.

5) Florida State (21-7)-If a Florida State Basketball player is among the best in the ACC ala Toney Douglas, does anyway know it?

6) Boston College (20-9)-Good week for Boston College with the win over Florida State and no former players arrested at the game.

7) Virginia Tech (17-6)-Seth Greenberg may not have to call selection committee certifiably insane if Hokies can beat Duke Saturday.

8) Maryland (17-10)-Keep it Classy College Park! Maybe they will tear down the goalposts at Byrd Stadium if they can knock of NC State Sunday.

9) Miami (17-10)-Spring football coming up with the new look Canes!

10) NC State (15-11)-Tim Clark is the MAN! He’s now the Tiger rival step aside Phil Mickelson.

11) Virginia (9-15)-Again Al Groh has to be asking himself where’s firedaveleitao.com.

12) Georgia Tech (10-16)-Adding to the bad economy and extra large stadium in Atlanta is the horrific season the host team is having. Should be a great atmosphere in the Georgia Dome for the ACC tournament.
