Green hears Heels' critics

UNC fans will miss Danny Green for his electrifying stat sheet-stuffing play on the court.
Reporters will miss him for his soundbites.
In the Heels' post-game press conference after their 104-74 win versus Georgia Tech, Green admitted something most players or coaches never would:
He hears the critics!
Most teams would like you to think they live in this soundproof isolation chamber during the season. Not Green. When the team lost to Maryland the previous Saturday, Green and company spent a whole week listening to outsiders pick apart the flaws of what was then a 24-3 team.
“Of course we hear the criticism. It's all over TV. It's all over the papers. It's everywhere. Especially when we lose, it's a big deal,” said Green. “Some guys get in the internet, of course, and look up websites. Some guys look at the paper. A lot of guys have family members or friends telling them what's being said or what they've seen or what they've read or what they've heard. You can just watch on TV and know what they're saying. It's not hard. We're sports guys. We play sports. When we turn on the TV, we're going to flip to ESPN every now and then, I hope, if you like basketball and find what's going on in the basketball world.”
I’m sure Danny watches WRAL, too. Right? RIGHT?!?
