ESPN College Basketball Analyst Hubert Davis during his usual Tuesday visit with "The Insiders" said he thinks Maryland Coach Gary Williams should be ACC Coach of the year.
Davis cited the Terps lack of overall talent and size for the reasons he thinks Williams is deserving on the conferences top coaching honor. He also thinks Florida State's Leonard Hamilton, who he played for briefly in the NBA with the Washington Wizards, is deserving for the job he has done this season.
Davis also thinks the ACC Player of the Year honors could go to several deserving candidates. He cited Duke's Gerald Henderson, UNC's Tyler Hansbrough and Ty Lawson, along with FSU's Toney Douglas and Boston College's Tyrese Rice.
