Mike Krzyzewski and Roy Williams will soon stand side-by-side…in their boxer shorts?
A Duke spokesman confirms Krzyzewski, Williams, Bob Knight and Rick Pitino will appear in a commercial for the video game Guitar Hero. The advertisement is similar to previous Guitar Hero commercials that parody the dance scene in the movie Risky Business.
Krzyzewski hesitated to talk about the commercial in his press conference Friday, but did say, “It’s a cool thing” and will air “in a couple weeks.” Krzyzewski and Knight filmed their part of the commercial on Wednesday.
Duke forward Gerald Henderson heard about the commercial Friday. “I’m looking forward to seeing it. I think it will be hilarious,” he said.
