It’s easy to see Villanova as an underdog coming into this Final Four, but keep in mind the Wildcats were ranked No. 11 at the end of the regular season. So this isn’t some squad that was totally overlooked.
By the way, Carolina is 3-1 overall against Nova in the NCAA Tournament. The one loss came in 1985, when the Wildcats beat Georgetown for the NCAA title.
