NC State led UNC with seven and a half minutes to play, but the Tar Heels closed the game on a 24-8 run and defeated the Wolfpack 76-65 Saturday at Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill. UNC (19-8, 9-5) moves into third place in the ACC with the win while NC State (19-8, 8-6) falls back to fifth in the conference.
