Greensboro, N.C. — Duke sophomore Quinn Cook was named the ACC co-Player of the Week Monday following a stand-out performance in the Bahamas at the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament.
Cook was named the Battle 4 Atlantis MVP following a three-game stretch in which he averaged 13.7 points, 6.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2 steals. Cook also set a new career high with 17 points against Minnesota.
Sharing the weekly honor was Virginia Tech’s Erick Green who set career high scoring marks in back-to-back games last week putting up 26 against UNC-Greensboro followed by 27 against Appalachian State.
Georgia Tech's Marcus Georges-Hunt was named the ACC Rookie of the Week.

Cook did a solid job in this tourney. He has courage, confidence, and the will to deliver. He showed great leadership that some didn't with the guards. I'm happy for Erick Green from VT too. Thank goodness that he didn't bolt like 4 others.
VT has only 8 on a scholarship this year. I hope they will be better than the pre-season pick. And. It would be great for our football team to win a damm Bowl game for a change too.

Cook was really good; Plumlee was great over the three game set and should have been the MVP

If, and that is an IF, Cook is steady and consistent over the season, he can bring a whole new level to the Blue Devils.
He showed seriously potential last year.....as being a big time factor and potential as nothing more than a practice player.
I hope Cook is a BIG time factor.
GO DUKE!!
