— Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will each be featured on ESPN's College GameDay schedule during the 2013-14 basketball season, with the Blue Devils making two appearances on the Saturday morning and evening preview show.

ESPN will join the Blue Devils in Syracuse, N.Y., on Feb. 1 when Duke takes on ACC newcomer Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. Tip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Two months later, ESPN will visit Durham for the regular-season-ending contest between Duke and North Carolina. The Blue Devils have hosted GameDay four times in the past.

The ACC is the only conference with two games featured among the slate of nine Saturday contests, which begins Jan. 18 and runs through March 8.

For the 10th year, Rece Davis will serve as host for College GameDay. He will be joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps and Jalen Rose to preview all of the day’s action and discuss the biggest storylines in college basketball.

You people are too funny. I grew up in NC and have been a huge Duke fan for many years but I swear I don't miss being in that area because of ridiculous trash talk like this. I used to participate heartily but being away makes you look and say, wow...stupidity comes from a lot of fans in this area and these rivalries! I respect UNC and NCSU now more than ever but I'll die a Duke Blue Devil fan. As for all the haters of any program discussed here, that would be exactly how you know you've made it...a bunch of nobody's making comments on how "their" program is better than "yours" lol. Funny and annoying at the same time, kinda like Jim Carey.

Great news for the ACC and this area.

Just curious as some Staters making comments here about why are they talking about bball when fball hasn't started? If i'm not mistaken, NCSU is the self proclaimed new "basketball school" in the State of NC right?

    UNC - A world brand
Duke - National brand that no one really knows about really
NCSU - A central NC brand

No one wants to do a Game Day in Chapel Hole. The ginger students scare the people watching, not to mention the old sweater vest wearing people who get there 15 minutes after the tip and leave with 5 minutes to go. Those people would never show up in the morning.

    UNC- regional brand
    Duke- national brand
