"I'll do you a favor and come back and write Lehigh everyday."

RE: Duke in the NBA
^^Hey dolt. I was mockingly asking what happened in that missing 8th season, since you mentioned 7 seasons. Answer to my question is they won the National Championship. I'm curious, why was the random # of 8 seasons selected? Does it have anything to do with Duke going to the ff in 2004? How's this for a stat. Duke has won 4 of last 22 Natty's. 7 of the last 8 Acc tourneys. 10 of the last 22 Final Fours. Highest Ncaa tourney winning % and most Ncaa wins.
RE: Duke in the NBA
For the curious...
Kiwi and dook lead the nation (by far)
in losses to a lower seed
in the Sour 16 or earlier.
RE: Duke in the NBA
^^ Hey... Don't get mad, bro
RE: Duke in the NBA
kato, when you are basically a #1 seed almost every year like Duke is, unless you win the title, you lost to a lower seed. Some of those Duke teams weren't as talented as a typical #1 seed, but K coaches every game to win and gets the most out of each team, so sometimes they got #1 seeds by having so many regular season wins. Here's the deal, unless you win it all, nothing else matters. Don't care if you lose in the 1st, Final Four or the champ game. To only the winner of it all go the spoils.

He really got the most out of them in the Lehigh game.
RE: Duke in the NBA
Yawn @ bretRATton...
The dookie record is losing to lower seeds
in the Sour 16 or earlier...which means they've consistently under-performed or were consistently over-ranked at a national record-setting pace.
And where you finish, does matter because the $poils significantly increase with each NCAA tourney game a team plays. For example, in 2011...$180.5 million was distributed to each of the 31 conferences that receive an automatic bid to the big dance. That money was divided by the number of games each conference played in the tournament from 2005 through 2010, with $240,000 awarded for each game. I.E., the dookie flameout trend has left a lot of ACC and team monies on the table.
RE: Duke in the NBA
Since he has had more McDonald AA's since 2000 I would say it means more that he can't develop the talent after they arrive at Duke so they can make it at the next level! Lol.........or bench your starting big man at the end of the year so he can drop in the draft in order to keep him around another year!
So lets review class:
Most talent at college level since 2000 and 2nd since 1990 and still no elite talent at the next level! Lol!!
A minimum of 10 players from UNC can be named before the first Duke player is even thought about! UNC is about the players......Duke.......bench them and hold on tight!
So to review - since 1990:
Unc has had better pro players than duke
Duke has had 4 titles vs unc's 3 titles
Conclusion - duke won more titles with less talent.

So to review Duke has now or ever had anything to brag about at the next level despite all the high school talent they have had. No plan for development! Whos Dukes best NBA player all-time? Lol, really!

So despite Coach K's inability to develop talent, Duke won 4 National Championships in the same time UNC (who's the best at developing talent) only won 3 National Championships. That Coach K is one amazing coach.

Stupidity is a dangerous thing. If you take into consideration how many players from UNC get drafted and go into the NBA, it's a no brainer why dook may have won more titles during that timeframe, however UNC still leads in overall titles. Kentucky seems to be the only team that reloads annually after losing a host of players. After the 2009 season, UNC lost it's top SEVEN scorers......how many did dook lose? How many were drafted? Yes, 2010 was a down year, but UNC has still fared better than dook (2011 & 2012). dook has embarrassed themselves and the ACC in recent years by failing to reach or get past the Sweet 16 in 7 of the past 8 years. You lost to Lehigh, a 15th seed just this past year in your first game. Yes, UNC lost to Dayton in the 2010 NIT championship game, but that pales in comparison to dook's utter failure at the big dance. Chew on that!
RE: Duke in the NBA
Going to 1 NIT is worse than losing in the 1st rd 10 yrs in a row. Going to the NIT means you had an entire putrid season. They still had talent, they just quitost games. Here's something that will make your life better. Don't worry & spend so much time with Duke/K in your thoughts all day. Every day. Try to clean up that corrupt fb program & bogus entire AA study program that is making a mockery of your school

Excellent description of dook...7 out of the most recent 8 seasons.
Go Lehigh!!!
