Oh well. We need help for next year, not 2013-14. He has to sit out until then, anyway. Jabari Parker might be in a Duke uniform by then.

Best of luck to him. Had close family ties with Pittsburgh. Probably a good fit.

I think that would be a long shot. I don't think the NCAA wants to set a precedent by allowing a player to transfer on the grounds that his coach was fired. That would open up the floodgates, and undermine their insistence that a player's commitment is to a school, not just a coach. Even if the coach is your dad.

tell that to ole kentuck...they tore out that page in the dictionary...as evidenced by the academic twists they are willing to do to get around the SEC rules of transfer...good ole calipari...seems like a match made in heaven...at least they let black players on the team so they are making progress.
