He just needs to keep it up one more season before he becomes an Unrestricted Free Agent and will be too expensive for MJ's payroll so he has a chance to get traded to a winning organization, unlike one owned by MJ.- Posted by markedectomy - 903

Cats are giving Receeding-Hairline Henderson all those minutes hoping he shows a little potential so they can trade up.
Stud. The only player worth a roster spot on the Bobcats.- Posted by DukeBlue00

They aren't trading him until he's off his rookie pay scale. That's what cheap owners do. Ride the undervalued and rookie contracts as long as they can then unload their highest priced salaries when they don't get enough revenue at the gate to pay their max contracts like what they did with Gerald Wallace as soon as they knew it would cost too much to keep him happy.

Yeah...Wallace had a looooooooooooooog rookie contract.
And heaven forbid if the Cats decide not to build around Henderson (career ppg < 10).
LOL.
No one is saying to build around Henderson, just that he can be a really good starter at SF for the next 7 or 8 years. Build around Anthony Davis, if we get him.- Posted by DukeBlue00
But with MJ in charge, anything is possible. I'm still thinking he trades the #1 pick for a #5 and #12, then takes Barnes and Zeller-- almost identical to the 2006 draft when he traded down and took Felton and May..... worked out well, eh?
