yep...reveals what their sanctimonious bullsh*t is truly all about...don't remember any of our players returning to the football team. do remember some got screwed although later proven they did nothing wrong...newton hated K...did have a babe for a wife however...lol

But the biggest reason for Dukophilia is that people are desperate to believe in it. With college sports such a cesspool, people want there to be one school that hasn't compromised its academic mission in the pursuit of hardcourt glory.

Looks like Duke is the closest thing we have to perfection in the college basketball world. They aren't perfect, but they are the next best thing. Great article. You should read the last 2 sentences again.

I searched but couldn't find a second source with this info anywhere. Wonder why espn.com, si.com, even yahoo sports never picked this article up or wrote one of their own with the same topics? Wierd.

The article is really old, but everything listed in it is a fact. Please show sources to disprove otherwise. Unfortunately it does not include the last decade of flameouts or K's illegal recruiting.

I found a book about all of Roy accomplishments the other day but it was in the comic book section for some reason. It was great for some laughs though.

HAHAHAHA an article from 2001???? That's all you got? That GREG NEWTON cheated on an exam, William Avery does what every 1-and-done player does and dropped out of school, and Corey Maggette accepted benefits (as if that is some sort of new revelation)
