Since Duke is guilty of something as you try desperately to imply, what exactly did they do wrong? What should they have done differently? Shockingly tedious. Again, feel free to vacate Duke's wins on your basement wall if it makes you feel better. I couldn't give a sheet. You are right though, Duke should be punished for not knowing what they didn't know, I guess??

Did Memphis know about Rose's transgressions prior to enrolling? Did they vacate wins?

Hint.... they did not know, and they vacated the entire season.

It's hard to tell sometime when you are serious or not. You are apparently ok with dook using an ineligible player so I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that you were ok if Kentucky had done the same.

Nice gloss-over on Rose. Transgressions? I have news for you, if a player jumped his SAT score dramatically/randomly, it would be brought to Duke's attention. He cheated to become eligible and it was common knowledge. You are right though, exactly the same circumstances.

No, they did not. Nor am I asking / saying / indicating that duke should initiate the vacating of wins. Not going to happen. duke is too arrogant to this.

One key point is that the NCAA turned a blind eye. The other key point is that duke used an INELIGIBLE player.

BTW, Memphis appealed the penalty based solely on the fact that the NCAA did turn the blind eye on the maggette case.
