At least Duke didn't get beat twice on their home field, no less, in the opening round of the NCAA baseball playoffs.

I thought I would use some tarhole logic, like not making it to the final eight is somehow worse than not making the NCAA tournament at all. I wanted to see if it sounds as dumb when I say it as it does when y'all say it.

At least in our NIT year, we played 5-6 additional postseason games, and got to watch our Heels compete for a few more days and make it to the Final, even if they did lose. It was fUnN!!

I'll take that any day over an historic, embarrassing first-round BOUNCE in the NCAA tournament in your own backyard.

Wow, you sure you talking about the same season Roy said was "worse than Haiti"?

I didn't know anyone in Chapel Hill was watching. Weren't they doing two-for-one tickets to get people to attend the games in Carmichael (because it would look more full than a 3/4 empty Dean Dome)?
