i knew winning number 6 probably wasn't happening at lane stadium. looking forward to getting that bowl invite. maybe one of the remanng home games or at ga tech.

VT was due to playing a solid and complete game. We had 5 plays that cost us the 1st two losses according to Bud Foster. 5 plays will kill any team when they are scores, or great field position.

How many thought that VT could pull a win after being down today 20-0 against Duke? No one. I had my doubts, but I stated that if we could score early in the 3rd, we could pull the deal. The rest is History. We were FINALLY playing as a team. The 1st time all season. Chemistry was an issue to me as I wrote 3-4 weeks ago. Maybe Beamer and Foster addressed this all season long, and it finally hit the brain cells. We may lose to Clemson and Miami, but as long as they never give up...spells great things to me. UNC can beat all of the teams in the ACC, and it's a great thing for my Hokies too. We are still alive.

Glad to see VT put together a solid game - congrats to them! Don't fret, Duke fans. You have a CUPCAKE next week to become bowl eligible, and will be at a solid 6-2. Things are still looking very good for the Blue Devils.
