Very average for a #3 pick.

Really. Why don't you go back and check on other #3 picks or the average career of an NBA player and get back to us.

So where we're Sean May, rashad McCants and Marvin Williams drafted.

Also depends on the teams you play on.

Once again logic eludes your tiny brain.

OK, here's a #3 for you: more? comparable picks too tough? Maybe he can match a #5:!

Yes, one example is a great sample size. Nice job.

Better than Marvin Williams a #2 pick.

  • still heelman1973 Nov 8, 2012

^ I realize how hard it is for you to count that high, but I initially gave you two. One was even a lower pick. I have edited to give you three more.

And Marvin's career numbers are not that much different than the chest-stomper's. One less PPG and one less RPG.

Wonder if The Pacers are having second thoughts about this draft pick? Couldn't blame them, really.

Sports Legend Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel has seen enough.

After watching his bench fall on its face on a regular basis by losing any momentum the starting unit put together, Vogel decided it was time for a change.

And it's at backup point guard.

Vogel demoted D.J. Augustin to third string and replaced him with Ben Hansbrough as the second unit's point guard Monday.

Augustin's benching could be the first domino to fall with the second unit. Vogel has been impressed with the development of rookies Miles Plumlee and Orlando Johnson. Jeff Pendergraph is also available to play power forward if Tyler Hansbrough can't get out of his shooting slump.

sad isn't it that the unc fans, with all the failings of their beloved fball and bball holes must now turn to the NBA to seek a vent for their hatred. meanwhile, that ugly cesspool called an athletic dept over at cheater hill continues to burp up putrid phlem on a regular basis. pity the holes and their tunnel visioned fanbase. they are the authors of the worst cheating scandal in acc history, unless you include the Dixie Classic, but it was the holes who shut that down with their cheating also...with a bit of help from ncsu

"Plumlee has been assigned to Fort Wayne of the NBA's D-League and will play in their next two games, the Pacers' official site reports.

Spin: After not playing since Nov. 18, Plumlee will don a Mad Ants uniform both Friday and Saturday, as the Pacers' schedule boasts its own back-to-back. He will likely be called back up to the NBA at the point, where he will again ride the pine."

All Star the looks of my twitter feed, Mile Plumlee has been a bright spot through two games of summer league action.

Pacers F/C Miles Plumlee just tied the Orlando Summer League record for rebounds in a game at 15. Earl Barron was the other player in 2006.

He's really, REALLY bad at predicting things, and just a horrible judge of basketball talent in general.

Clearly the Suns are making moves in the goal of getting younger and especially more athletic. That's why Kendall Marshall is on the trade block... The Suns could not make Jared Dudley more athletic or turn back the clock on Luis Scola so they made July deals using two of their more sought-after players to become more athletic and younger.

Green, 27, and Plumlee, 24, help meet goals to become more youthful and athletic.

Plumlee was a key trade component, particularly after McDonough and Assistant General Manager Pat Connelly watched him at the Orlando summer league this month. The 6-foot-11, 255-pound center averaged 10.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in 27.0 minutes per game after getting miniscule time as a Pacers rookie in 14 appearances.

"He rebounds well and he's an athletic big man who can run the floor and get out and finish on the break," McDonough said. "I like him and his potential. He'll fit right in with how we want to play."
