Mike Dunleavy scored 15 points off the bench on Monday to go with four boards, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes against Cleveland.

He shot 4-of-6 from the field while making all five free throws and he was the best perimeter scorer for the Bulls tonight.

    LOL @ jr...

needs to understand the primary point of winning before posting next time...

unless he is attempting to nominate someone for the "Glennon Performance in a Loss Award".

I have some advice for you. Avoid Chapel Hill at all costs unless you actually want to get raped. Their administration doesn't have a problem with it.

Mike Dunleavy (knee) returned from his right knee injury and played well with 17 points, six rebounds, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Pacers.

Dunleavy has chronic knee problems and he's coming off a six-game hiatus to rest his sore right knee.

If anything good happened at UNC you could do the same. Oh maybe next decade

LOL at how insecure it is to continually make threads about anything at all good related to Dook.

    How sad.

I heard he got the lead role in the remake of "Mask." I'm talking about the creepy 1980's movie, not the Jim Carrey one.

Mike Dunleavy never gives up. He has had a solid Pro career, and he still gives the game his best every night out. I appreciate players like him when the NBA has so many that don't care after they sign the check.

I am very glad that as Duke fans we can talk about people who no longer attend Duke. Hopefully we will be able to speak well of people who are actually still at Duke. I know 903 lives in the past (or over at UNC), but some of us like the present.

Who ever said he was the #1 scoring option? Do not recall anyone saying that.

    Indeed...Dunleavy.

You know your NBA franchsise is in trouble...

if Dunleavy, Jr. is your #1 scoring option.

Duke not only has more players in the NBA but more of them are being asked to captain their teams.

And back on topic, I'm looking forward to Henson's next 29 point performance for the Bucks.

    True that.

They could be looking at Hendergoon to lead them.

It could be worse. They could be looking to one of those UNC boys, but no one has sank that low yet.

Saturday saw Dunleavy put on his best Larry Bird impression and he came away with his finest performance as a Buck, reminding us that Tobias Harris starting at small forward has little bearing on Dunleavy's status as the team's best wing player. The Cavs were curiously insistent on hedging off Dunleavy to help defend against Ellis and Jennings, who connected with Dunleavy five times in both halfcourt and transition.

But while no one will say this is a typical performance from Dunleavy, it also never felt surprising either (well, aside from the rebounds). There's little question that he's the team's best pure shooter, and he probably owns the best basketball brain on the roster as well. When he shoots, you expect it to go in. When he passes, you expect it to go to the right guy. It's difficult to ask for much more from your sixth man, and with James Harden now starting in Houston we'll hopefully see Dunleavy with a better shot at the sixth man of the year award come next spring.

The Bucks held on to beat the Cavs on Saturday behind Mike Dunleavy's 29 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block.
Dunleavy drained 10-of-12 FGs, including an unconscious 6-of-7 from downtown, while turning the ball over just once in 35 minutes. He has a very fantasy-friendly game, as this line attests, but guessing when he'll explode is like betting on green in roulette. His eruption reduced Tobias Harris (13 minutes) to a pile of ash.

Ellis and forward Mike Dunleavy were elected team captains for the Bucks. Dunleavy is one of Skiles' most dependable players off the bench.
"When your teammates select you for something, it means a lot," Dunleavy told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "Being in the league my 11th year now, I've seen a lot and been around a lot. Hopefully I can provide some leadership for our guys and we can have a great season."
