Sorry, if you want to get your little panties all in a wad over this, have at it.

Our society has become way way too sensationalized.

If I got offended every time I heard an African American or Asian or Hispanice say some derogatory or racist towards white folks, I would be mad all the time.

If it bothers you, it is your problem, not mine.

Do I need to define stereotype for you?

stereotype - a set of inaccurate, simplistic generalizations about a group that allows others to categorize them and treat them accordingly

Apparently a couple of UNC fans can't read or just have a hard time understanding this is not what she did. She dressed like a black character and painted her face black. Did she exaggerate the lips? Walk around with a bucket of chicken or a watermelon? Use the ol' Sambo slang?

Obviously most posters on this thread never saw the films featuring the Lil Rascals. Had they group left out the black character of the orignial Our Gang, that would have been racist. Get over it, nothing racist in the theme.

In my opinion nothing is more racist than the institutional racism that exists/existed at UNC. Where black the student athletes and the mentally defective (take Psycho-T) were segregated away from the real classes at UNC. I thought America was better than this.
