Major fail. They couldn't have said no if they wanted to play in the Classic. It's no different than Carolina agreeing to play any of the teams in the Maui Invitational.

I understand it was part of the champions classic but the game was agreed upon by both schools. It was not a random tournament type game. Both Duke and Kentucky agreed to the game. Therefore it was scheduled. Either team could have said no.
