Major fail. They couldn't have said no if they wanted to play in the Classic. It's no different than Carolina agreeing to play any of the teams in the Maui Invitational.

Thump. Thump. That's the sound of you getting run over.

I understand it was part of the champions classic but the game was agreed upon by both schools. It was not a random tournament type game. Both Duke and Kentucky agreed to the game. Therefore it was scheduled. Either team could have said no.

Bam. That is your bubble bursting

Uh, you do realize that dook didn't schedule Kentucky, don't you? Nor did they schedule Ohio St, Minnesota, or any of the other teams they might play in The Bahamas. So, the teams they actually scheduled are: Georgia State, Delaware, Temple, Cornell, Elon, Santa Clara and Davidson. Oh, as usual, none of them are away. All are at home except one at a neutral site (NJ, or dook north).

Ooops! Sorry. Davidson is in Charlotte, so that's close to home for Davidson.

Only one team can win it all each year. Duke has made their share of deep runs in the NCAA tourney. I am proud to be a Duke fan. That can't be said for all UNC fans. Their university's image is tarnished.
