Shane Battier Update

Shane Battier helped propel Miami to a win on Thursday with 18 points, three rebounds, one steal, two blocks and six 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
Battier had his best game of the season tonight and he has now hit 11 3-pointers in his last three games.

He also drew this nice charge from an out-of-control Ty Lawson at the 5:43 mark in the 4th quarter with Miami up 85-84:

Shane Battier made three 3-pointers in a 101-92 win over the Hawks on Monday with 10 points, two rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes.

It is truly amazing what all Shane Battier has managed to accomplish, considering that his skull never fused properly and part of his brain is exposed. No helmet for Shane (at least not since grade school or so) - he refuses to let his condition keep him from taking more charges than a matador, every single game. Here's to the NBA's favorite "fall guy," Shane "The Brain" Battier!
