Flameouts (to lower seeds) are what they are, flameouts.

It is just that one is the national record holder of such.

u r the one off-base here, i didnt give an opinion, pinhead, i commented on facts...K has done a better job in the FF than roy...4 of 12>2 of 11...pretty, simple FACTS.....and, as long as i have been alive, NCSU is 2 titles out of two appearances in the FF...care to compute that %?

LOL, exactly larry...based on duhhh's logic, Stormin' Norman > John Wooden.

What duhhhh shows us is what Red Rage can lead to (ignoramous foot-in-mouth commentary).

State fans taking up for their Duke brothers!! Now thats priceless! How about State in the great 8 or final 4? I'm sure by State fans thinking they are BY FAR the most successful program since their succeess rate is so high WHEN they actually get there! Smh at certain fanbases being allowed to have opinions!

what it showed me was that K makes better use of his opportunities in the elite 8, 4 of 12(33.3%) vs roys 2 of 11(18%).....kato proves that 33%(K)>18%(roy)....priceless!

He leads DES in NC's 4-2 and Roy in NC's 4-2.

That is how coaches are measured

Sour 16 or earlier flameouts to lower seeds.

Success is not measured in Elite 8's. It is measured in FF's and NC's

  • kato_karma.v3 Dec 4, 2012

    LOL.

Roy could flame out at the Sweet 16 or earlier 12 out of then next 13 seasons and still equal Kiwi's national record setting flameout trend.

    (Roy: 11 Elite 8's in 23 seasons. Kiwi: 12 Elite 8's in 36 seasons.)

    DES 2 NC's.

So who has flamed out more?

Btw, do you write your own material or do curly and moe help?

Don't forget to thank Carolina the school that every other conference wants, the school that if they abandoned Duke, they would be in the CIAA why Carolina continued greatness!

Oh, and starting off good is a positive but just dont flame out like most Duke teams do in March!

Hi Butler! I will not thank Dook for anything. What they are doing is nothing new. Great regular season, not so great Post Season (2010). If they go all the way, then I may give them a cookie!

We can also thank Swofford. He got Louisville to join the ACC and if I'm not mistaken, they are ranked somewhere up there as well and also gave Duke a good run to make up for the lack of any good runs coming in Jan and Feb.

Very impressed by the Devils in the early season! Congrats to Duke from a Tarheel fan who is willing to acknowledge the accomplishments of this team. Not much hope for UNC this year, but Duke has made me proud of the ACC in 2012......Hats off to the Blue Devils!!
