Will only beating carolina by less than 25 drop Indiana from the #1 spot? Stay tuned at 6:00 pm next Monday to find the answer.

Tweaked?. About Duke being in the discussion for #1 while UNC gets curbstomped by the likes of Butler?

I'm not tweaked. I knew you were going to lie about lightening up so this is no surprise at all.

Duke very well could be come next poll barring any upsets. An unranked Georgetown team at the time took IU to OT. Georgia was in the Indiana game until they pulled away the last few minutes. Then they spank a UNC team that can't throw it in the ocean right now. IU doesn't have to lose to move down thats for sure. Seen it quite often in basketball.

But at this point of the season, these rankings are moot and just about bragging rights. I really don't care what Duke is ranked as long as they keep winning.

    And it is tweaked again.

That is light, I could have mentioned killing patients, the banner coming down for 2010 or racism at Dook and I didn't;-)

After Lee said "Hi", the voters are a little worried about getting dookie hopes up.

    Again.

Roy does not have to use ineligible players and has a better winning percentage than K.

You don't know the half of it! Everytime I would take him for a ride in the car, within 5 minutes he would continuously ask "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"

Then why is carolina not #1 with their 20 McD AA's. Oh yeah, because they're stuck with coach Roid.

You sure do ask a lot of questions.

If UNC had played Indiana close, Duke would become #1. They didn't, so Duke will most likely remain a #2 until Indiana loses or shows they are not the really GOOD team they are.

How was Duke able to beat UK? Why isn't UK number 1?

How many AAs are on Butler and UNC? How'd Butler beat UNC?

Indiana v. Duke tonight would be a good way to settle it. And a fun game to watch

  • The1 Nov 29, 2012

They should be number 1. After all, they have 17 high school AA's on this team.

IU stays number 1 until they lose. This isn't the BCS.

rarely will a #2 leap frog a #1 after a week where both teams did not lose. Look for Duke to remain #2 with a few more first place votes. IU is a very complete team and will be scary when they get their whole team together. Remember, IU was missing 2 players versus UNC.

There is a very realistic possibility that Duke takes the top spot on Monday, after beating Ohio State. As the OP said, all Indiana has done lately is beat UNC, and they do in fact suck.

Dukes playing like a #1 team. Its November, who cares about the rankings this early in. In March the NCAA tourny committee wont care what you were ranked in Nov. Im anxious to see league play, Jan & Feb are the games that matter. By then youve had the chance to fix issues and will be a more clear picture of whos a contender and whos not. But hats off to Duke. Ks got them playing really good ball right now
