Most neutral games are like the Lehigh game. That's why Coach K doesn't feel the need to play true road games. Every game in a neutral setting ends up being more people pulling for the team opposing Duke than people pulling for Duke. And the venues are similar to what they will be playing in in the tourney. For example the Champions Classic was played at the GA Dome which is where the Final Four is this year.

So what do you call the games not played in Cameron during the ACC schedule?

The Lehigh game last year may as will have been an away game. The majority of the fans there were rooting for Lehigh. In dook had played true road games they may have been able to handle it better.

Oh, so this is the same as last year huh? Same players, same team and the opposition is the same also huh?

This year Duke is a very different team. But you know what? Things happen and they could very well lose in the 1st round like last year.

And how many home games and away games are played in the NCAA tourney?
Where are the games played in the NCAA tourney?

You really are just an idyot.

    Did you miss this?:

Dook did it last season and then Lehigh happened.

You have been given credit for OSU and Louisville, though neither was an away game.

Dook's next 8 cupcake games will hide their weaknesses. When did they move the UNC games up to December?

If Duke's in trouble, what is a team that's gotten curbstomped by Butler?

At least they haven't gotten curbstomped by Butler.

Dook did it last season and then Lehigh happened.

UNC went 18-13 regular season back in 99-00 and made the final 4.

Beating an over ranked Kentucky squad on a neutral floor by only 7 points is not that impressive anymore.

Dook's next 8 cupcake games will hide their weaknesses.

Still amazing how obsessed you are with Duke. Your team has already lost two games and looks like they are in for a bad year and you are still worried about Duke.

    Bless your heart.

If Plumlee is the best, why it is a sad year? I kind of think that is your opinion and we all know your opinion is clouded by a certain shade of glasses you wear.

I think averaging a double double in any year of NCAA D1 hoops is pretty darn good.

  • DooksucksV3 Nov 30, 2012

41st in points per game and 242nd in rebounds means that Dook is in for trouble later on down the line.

Agreed, Hokie, re: UK's coach. ND generally plays very well at home, can't say I'm surprised they beat UK at their place.

I like how the truth causes Dook fans to deflect.

Kentucky was ranked so high on reputation alone.

The one and done model is not sustainable.

Plumlee isn't the best in the Country, but he's the best in the ACC thus far. Erick Green (VT) is leading the ACC in scoring at 24.3 per game. Mason is at 19.9 per game. Duke is the best team in this early season, and should remain in the end based opon the teams they have beaten. Loads of games still though. I'm happy as heck that ND beat Calapari. Did you see him on the sideline tonight. Pretty much out of his skin. Highlight reel on this one tomorrow. Go Hokies. 6-0.

Its a fact! Every expert talked about how the talent level was bad in 2010! How many franchise players are playing this year? If Plumlee is the best as has been suggested on here by Duke nation then its a sad year for sure!

Yeah, funny how the NCAA is always down in years when Duke is good, but was not down in 82, 93, 2005 and 2009.

This just ruins my whole season as a Duke fan. I'm so jealous of UNC fans. I wish my team could get curbstomped by Butler and Indiana in one week. Oh well, maybe next year.
