I will be pulling for Duke, but I'm picking Cinci 42-21.

No, if I was listening, I would doing as he demands.

What I actually do is chuckle and comment.

And you know this how? Ever heard of a lesser team beating a favorite?

They are called upsets. Happen all the time. For example, you UNCheat fans continue to bring up one that happened almost a year ago.

Funny that you guys try to brag about a shared title before expansion.
The #4 final ranked '97 squad would have annihilated Dook's '89 squad.

    Sad.

in those 3 decades im sure the great tradition of UNC football atleast won an ACC title in that time? Im sure they have, right? i mean that is a very long time and all those "great" teams you had.....hehehehehehehe.

i mean you are not hangin a banner just for not being the worst, right?

I'll pull for them. I don't really think they belong, and I don't give them much chance, but I'll pull for them.

I go to games all the time and I know plenty.

I love how you UNCheat fans jump all over Duke fans for missing a date or day or score but forgive you cheating scandal ridden school like what happened occurs at all schools.

As with most Duke fans that have jumped on the bandwagon you are clueless with the facts! 1989 was Dukes last championship followed by decades of losing! The only reason thats known is because whenever Spurrier is talked about that incredible feat comes up! Please be factual when speaking moving forward!

Actually between UNCheat and Duke, Duke has the most recent ACC title.

And if you have information on Duke cheating, you need to get with DS. I am sure he has another meeting with the NCAA and ACC soon.

True, but they did pull it out none the less. No doubt, the most impressive win of the season. Memphis, FIU, and of course the powerhouse of NCCU didn't hurt their cause. Not to worry though, the BEATING that will take place will further embarrass the league, as they voted butttsnifff coach of the year and he will have done so with a final losing record. Fitting stuff for New Jersey and the bandwagoners.

Well, they moved up 2 slots by default, but the fact that dook got there at all is entirely the fault of our own team. When they were 5-2, I predicted they would never become bowl eligible. Everybody but our defense did what they needed to do to make that prediction come true. In fact, almost everyone else pounded them mercilessly.

The Big East's Cincinnati and the ACC's Duke will meet in the Belk Bowl, Brett McMurphy reports.

The Belk Bowl has been referred to by the Sports Business Journal as one of the top five startups in sports. It claims to hold the record for the highest attendance at a non-BCS bowl game and the second-largest attendance at a non-BCS bowl game. Teams from the ACC and Big East are ready to get their time in the spotlight by playing for a purse of $3.4 million.

TV schedule: Thursday, Dec. 27 at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN

Locale: Charlotte, Bank of America Stadium (73,778)

My thoughts on the title sponsor's services: Belk is a department store in the Southeast, priding itself on bringing a "Southern lifestyle" to each of its customers. I always seem to end up at Belk when I'm visiting my grandma in West Virginia. I live in SoCal; Belk isn't ironic-hipster enough to last out here.

Last year's score: NC State 31, Louisville 24
