Agreed! Syracuse has a rock solid program; looking forward to seeing the Devils mix things up with 'em on a regular basis.

I like that Blenheim is entering the arena, I expect it will ignite K even more, good basketball in our near future

+1...K will hang around & get over 1000 wins. Plus, with Boeheim close behind @ 898, I can't see K retiring in the near future. I expect one to try & outlast the other...should be interesting.

I agree K stays for one more, but say he won that 5th in the next couple seasons, does he stay after the fifth banner hokie?

Agreed. Especially the NC part. I think he has 2 more coming.

Coach K is one of the most powerful coaches in the land. He has a life-time contract at Duke. He's so much above most coaches out there...past and present. He's way above Roy Williams in coaching, and how he delivers to the media. His HOF status and his solid recruitment keeps him at UNC. Roy did better last season and, also this season in his media interviews. His health issues calmed him a little. Coach K will win another NC before he leaves this game.

K lasts longer than Roy imo, and there will never be a day when docksocksv3 gets his grimy hands on OUR NCAA banners.

No banners will come down at Duke. Coach K will coach as long as he wants to coach. I see 5-7 years right now. He's in great health and his zeal is still the same for this game.

IDK, but those ranking for points, rebounding, assist, and % sure are changing for Duke aren't they? Herpaderp! It's pretty funny watching the 7th ranked scoring, 5th ranked rebounding, 1st ranked assist, and 67th ranked in FG% Tar Heels drop like a rock. Good luck against another swashbuckling basketball titan this weekend. A win versus ECU will really grab some national attention and get UNC the respect they deserve...

And the jeweler getting a few extra bucks stuffed in his pocket.

K's "be quiet" tour is almost complete.

I did not have to guess who started this thread. AND I WAS RIGHT!!! Yet another attempt by a sad UNC fan trying to deflect the fact that they are the ones more likely to have a banner come down that Duke. I personally don't think either one will lose a banner - but it is more LIKELY in Chapel Hill based on the 2005 team and the no-show classes that kept their players eligible. Waiting for Gov. Martin to let us all know. dooksuxV3 is really sad and in need of help.

I only hope for peace and good will. UNC has dug a hole the size of the Grand Canyon and I just don't see how the NCAA can save face without droping a Death Bomb on Cheater Hill.

More than likely. If he would just take it down now he could avoid the humiliation and disgrace.
He was in New York last week, undoubtedly he visited the jeweler to work out a deal.

    Sad.

Hi Butler! No Banners are coming down, but you can always hope!

    GO HEELS!!

K would probably like to retire before the banner-lowering ceremony, but he's probably stuck. It's a pretty simple case - if the NCAA concludes Lance received inappropriate benefits, he will be ineligible, and Duke will have to forfeit the game.

I think it will be after he retires. As soon as he know that the banner is coming down, he will fake another back injury and retire.

The real question is will Dean make it long enough to see His banners come down along with Roys retirement and Banner stripping ? Well?
