Make your predictions: Which #16 seed will knock off Dook this season?
903 mens national championships Dec 15, 3:23 p.m.
The only problem with your prediction is that alot of teams get better as the season goes along. If Duke runs into Louisville, OSU, Kentucky, VCU or even Minnesota in March or April, Duke beating them in November won't be an incidicator of what would happen in the rematch.

Since more than likely Duke will be a 1 or 2 seed , if or when they lose in the NCAA tourney it would more than likely be to a lower seed.
Just as he did with his kids college education funding, Kato can't seem to think through scenarios prior to making stupid statements.

IU and a host of other teams that can play well. Also, Duke is subject to have off nights(see Lehigh).
Hopefully that reference to the past will satisfy the fans that are not participating in this season.

hate to say it but duke is no joke and will take it all this year lol i dont see who can beat duke they have already beat everybody

Futuristic predictions are typically based on past performance (history).
As such, dook has established a trend of flaming out in the Sour 16 or earlier.
That said, kato forecasts that a lower seed will, again, put dook out of the big dance.

It follows instructions well!
The thread headline is about the future there 3rd person...
"this season" in the title headline(referenced by you) is not "all about history."
His trolling, along with yours is all about history(Like UNC being snubbed by the big boy's tournament in 2009). I am with you on the whole avoiding this season though. It's been so long since Duke has been to the NIT that you will have to live with sympathy. Thanks for the 7 out of 8 update, too bad that 1 is a Championship, the most recent in the ACC might I add. No worries, you concentrate on the past while Duke looks to future. The whole post season thing must have hurt your feelings, don't worry as I doubt UNC will bump into Duke in the post season.
Please proceed with more history. Do not talk about this season. Don't you dare talk about anything that is not last season or beyond.

the thread headline is all about history...
dookie history of being knocked out of the NCAA tourney...
at the Sour 16 or earlier...
which happens to CURRENTLY stand at 7 out of the most recent 8 seasons.

Sure. Duke won it all in 2010 so we are not that far removed from advancing past the sweet 16 as you would suggest. Thank you for stating that you believe Duke should advance past the sweet 16. We appreciate the confidence. When we start missing the NCAA tournament, then I will start to show some concern. Now, UNC fan, please proceed to avoid talking about this year and attempt to give us a history lesson. We are all very interested.

Funny, you Holes used to brag about DES making the Sweet Sixteen. Now, if a Duke team loses in the Sweet Sixteen it is a negative.
Hmmmmm, what is the word I am looking for? Oh yeah, HYPOCRITE.
kato_karma.v3 Dec 14, 3:35 p.m.
humm. Yup, very relevant to your post.
Let us know the next time dook does not get knocked off in the Sour 16 or earlier...
And then let us know when they do that (avoid flameout) two years in a row.
