Danny Fairy Update.
Danny Ferry was always a dedicated and hardworking person, on and off the court. He made the most of his ability garnering first team all American honors at Dook university. He used this opportunity to learn everything that could be taught to him by the Dook coaching staff.Then he took that knowledge to Italian league's Il Messaggero (now Virtus Roma). He did go to the nba later to fail at a higher level of play. Then, basketball ended. True competitive athlete that Ferry was he refused for this to be an end to his competitive sports career. He used his nc ties to get in touch with Linda McMahon, wife of WWE wrestling owner. She immediately jumped at the chance to utilize the talents of Ferry.
"He is a natural" Mrs. McMahon said"it usually takes three or four years of practice to learn to flop around after fake contact but Ferry could do it from day one like he had done it for years!"
He did do it for years. As a part of the vaunted Dook "all fall down D" he had plenty of practice at faking contact. The only bad night he had was when Wojo made a guest appearance as a competitor at one match. Not surprisingly, neither man swung but both men fell to the floor out cold. The match is the only draw in wrestling history.
