UNC did not win the division, as they were not eligible, regardless if they went undefeated or had nary a win. Ex. ohio state...no titles, 12-0

Good news for d00kies is that a truckload of vaseline was delivered to DUR-Ham this morning. They can finally have some relief for those chapped Be-Hinds!

To bad we didn't play UNC's schedule, or just play UNC a few more times. We could easily get the win number up.

I am proud of our first year coach winning 8 games w/o a bowl or it would have been 9. Next year we win 10 and another division title. I buy your statement about state and UNC however you are a foolz to say Dook had any relavance in the past for football. They have had zero relavance just like the closing 5 losses proved again for this year (their stellar year) ROFLMWAO!

  • unbiasedaccfan Dec 29, 2012

Yes - UNC has averaged 6 wins a season over the last 10 years. That makes them just about as average as the State record you are making fun of and the 6 win season that Duke had this year. UNC is NO MORE relevant than State or Duke in Football and thinking that UNC is some great footbal program is nearly as stupid as this thread. Enjoy your 6 wins a year over the last decade, sit on your porch and play with yourself with enjoyment. It will take your mind off 6 wins per season and having to cheat to do it - You should be proud!!

I think an 8 win season and a divisional title makes UNC as relevant as it gets in ACC football.

BTW - nice 6 win season though it came with 7 losses and 5 in a row at the end. Sad....even for someone of your caliber!

Coming from a UNC fan, I will settle for pitiful over pitiful and a cheater. Let me know when UNC is relevant in football. Thanks for the Victory Bell! It makes your comments hilarious.

They will not win 5 games next year regardless. It still is unreal to me that a major college can feel great about a team that finishes 6-7 for the season. Just unreal. It is even worse than the mediocrity state always settles for. at least they are happy with 7 wins. Pitiful.....plumb pitiful!!!

It takes longer to turn around a program when you don't take short cuts. I could not imagine how it would feel to have a mediocre team and cheat. If it takes to 2020 to have a winning season, that is fine, provided they do it without making up fake classes.

Me thinks State Internal Investigator stayed up all night playing with himself after the Duke loss. Get a life, pal. Duke football has improved and should continue whether you like it or not. I'm not even a Duke fan, but can't understand someone receiving so much joy as you seem to from their loss. Maybe its a good that you have someting positive in your life - especially since your heels have been caught cheating for the last decade and were unable to go to their own bowl this year. Actually there hasn't been any vaseline in Orange, Durham, or Wake counties as the tar hole fans bought it all after the NCAA stuck the bowl ban up their rear end.

It has taken 10 years of improvement to get to a record of 6-7? At this rate they should have a winning record in 2020.

Good for you keeping up with Vaseline inventories. I can't imagine why someone like yourself would have a pulse on the vaseline sales in Durham(insert sarcasm)... Cool story though.

Progession.......they lost their last 5 games in a row. Only a dookie could see progression in that 6-7 year. At that rate it is 18 more years to a bowl!

Duke played pretty decent until 1:30 left in the game. Duke had the chance to seal the deal and fumbled. Next year we will try again. Happy to see the steady progression under Coach Cut.
