Just read a few. Nolan Smith isn't close to being a top player in the NBA. He surely did his job at Duke though. His weakness is that he doesn't handle the ball like most. He is slow off of the dribble, and he doesn't have the skills to cross over and see the court. But. His degree from Duke will get him where he wants to go in life.

"Stooopid" - not realizing Kyrie Irving was a 2013 NBA All Star

    jr...

    you are funny...

    stooopid, but funny.

(watching Vince in his prime > than watching what Kyrie has produced to date)

Kyrie Irving is better than Vince Carter. Watch the games and find out for yourself. Like I said earlier, if you watched the games you wouldn't look like such a fool on here (or maybe you would) and I wouldn't have to clown you all the time. I mean, before you just looked pathetic, now it is even beyond that point.

And again, Kyrie Irving was a 2013 NBA All Star - glad I can keep connecting that dot for you.

    jr, jr, jr...

YOU proposed that Kyrie IS CURRENTLY greater than Vince...

but failed miserably to prove such.

Given that Kyrie has yet to earn 1/8 the all-star appearances that Vince has...

one has to wonder what possessed you to make such an erroneous statement...

especially given that Vince has a FIBA and Olympic Gold, to top it off.

(please attempt to stay consistent with your meds schedule)

^You thought Roy Williams had 3 National Titles and didn't know Kyrie Irving had made an All Star team. And on top of all that, you still have some strange obsession with thinking I'm some random dude from these forums who handled you so bad that you still whine like a baby about it to this day. Not sure what homeboy did to you, but WOW did it have a lasting effect.

So just to recap, Kyrie Irving was a 2013 All Star, Roy has two titles, and I still have no earthly idea why you keep referring to me as some random guy that only you seem to care about. Connect the dots? You first. Feel free to keep posting if you want me to humiliate you more, not like it would be the first time I've done so on here, and certainly won't be the last.

    Let's see here jr...

Would that be Kyrie's first, second, fifth, seventh all-star appearance???

Did he, by chance, secure a FIBA and/or Olympic Gold???

(if, if, if...if jr had a sharp crayon, he might be able to connect a couple of dots)

Like I said, it would help you if you actually watched the games. Then you might have known Kyrie Irving was a 2013 NBA All Star.

    Mehh...

one could have said the same about dook's Jay Williams.

Alas, jr...no one can predict the future.

(you know, the "if" thing will buy you a handful of dookie and nothing much else).

Watch him play sometime, you might actually learn something. Like how obvious it is he better than Brad Daugherty ever was already.

    jr, jr, jr...

At this point in his career, Kyrie has yet to match UNC's Brad Daugherty:

    5x NBA All-Star (1988-1989, 1991-1993)
    All-NBA Third Team (1992)
    NBA All-Rookie First Team (1987)

but nothing wrong with aiming high...jr.

Raymond Felton led the Knicks to the playoffs? Carmelo Anthony says Hi. I will give you Ty Lawson, although he certainly had plenty of help.

Look, we get you are mad because Kyrie is better than anything has UNC has produced since Jordan, but it will be ok. In time, you will learn to accept the truth.

Another typical Duke player. Was never slated to be an NBA All-Star but came to Duke and won a National Championship and multiple ACC Championships as a member of another team assembled by the best coach in college basketball. Additionally, earned one of the best degrees in the world and exemplified what a student-athlete should be. He has a bright future ahead of him no matter what he decides to do thanks to his four years at Duke playing for the best coach in the game.

Remember last NBA season when a handful of dookie-homers were trashing Raymond's future and talking up Nolan as the heir apparent? Funny how wrong they were...

Felton moves on to lead the Knicks to a divisional championship and 2nd place conference finish.

Nolan, well...an unrestricted free agent after the Blazers drafted another PG and subsequently decided against picking up the extension on his rookie contract. Poor fellow played in less than half of Portland's games averaging 7.2 mins and 2.8 pts.

    http://www.rantsports.com/nba/2012/12/28/kendall-marshall-nearing-bust-status/

The Phoenix Suns have a number of roster issues that they need to clear up and one guy that isn't helping their cause is rookie point guard Kendall Marshall. Drafted 13th overall in last summer's NBA Draft out of North Carolina, he has looked like a colossal bust so far and could have the type of career that a former left-handed pass first point guard had in former Connecticut star Marcus Williams. Williams is no longer playing in the league after flaming out immediately after he was drafted. Marshall plays very similarly to Williams and his offensive game is currently a joke.

He was never a scorer in college and was fortunate to have played with a number of NBA players in Tyler Zeller and Harrison Barnes. It couldn't have been that hard to look somewhat good on that loaded of a roster.

The Suns need Marshall to be the franchise player they were hoping they selected last year. The problem is that he really doesn't appear to be that guy. He will have big trouble scoring consistently, especially from the perimeter. His outside shot is extremely weak and he is not a great free throw shooter either. He is also not a great athlete and lacks the athleticism that you would like out of the point guard position.

The one thing he does do well is passing and it is an ability that could help him stay afloat in this league. Unfortunately for him, he needs to make massive improvements in his all around game just to stay in the league. He has been playing in the Developmental League for a majority of the year, which is also not a great sign.

Marshall was taken with a lottery pick last summer and needs to start performing up to where he was selected.

    http://www.ridiculousupside.com/2013/1/7/3845090/can-nolan-smith-boost-his-market-value-with-a-solid-d-league-showcase

Since being drafted with the 21st selection in the 2011 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, Nolan Smith has done very little to convince Blazers personnel and fans that he was worth the early draft investment.
