    Link to 16 Mickey D's?

Actually, UNC fans knew the deal coming in, that you just don't replace 4 first round NBA draft picks just like that. Even Calipari realizes that now.

Cut us some slack, if your team had 16 Mickey D's and couldn't crack the top 25, what would you rather talk about. Just sayin

  • blueduke4 Jan 2, 2013

It is easier for some of the unc fans to talk down duke basketball than honestly analyze their own squad...especially in a down year.

a number 1 seed has never fell to a 16 why you say duke will??? get real

  • blueduke4 Jan 2, 2013

regardless of a 20 year old back injury, duke is number 1, unc is not ranked.

Thank God they don't have K, he would have faked a back injury by now.

that is the way it should be......UNC is awful this year. Now if they had some coaching, they could turn those 15 Mcdonald's AA into a top 10 team no problem. MAybe even top 5.

The problem with UNC getting back into the polls is that none of those first 4 opponents are ranked. They will be favored against all of them and even if they win those road games, the pollsters won't give them much credit since they are supposed to be better than those opponents too. They can get back in if they win and get help from those teams in the 20-25 range losing games they aren't supposed to. But based on where the ACC is right now, the only way they can get back in for sure is a win over State or Duke.

UNC starts their conference schedule with a game at UVA, home against Miami, @ Fla ST, and home against Maryland. UNC could win those first two and work their way back into the polls in a week or so. The biggest question for the Heels isn't whether they will get back into the polls, but whether or not Huckleberry will stay for the entire game when they go to Florida State. (No child left behind)

So in the case of UK, all that matters is where they're ranked now but in the case of Minnesota, it only matters where they were ranked when they played?

It includes one that fell out of the top 25 and one not ranked top 10 at the time they played.

    Typical and sad.

Yeah, and they only played 4 top 10 teams. What is up with the easy schedule.

It will make it much harder for Dook to swallow when they become the first 1 seed to lose to a 16.
