Same with Carolina, started out 0-2 in ACC play in 2009 and ended up winning the whole thing. It is ok to drop a couple of games early....if you make a habit of it, though...things can get rough.

With a healthy Kelly and Curry...

they stand 7 out of 8 chance of a Sour 16 or earlier flameout.

I forgot Duke lost to State back in 2010. This type of thing happens from time to time, especially when 2 of your top 3 players are injured. If Curry doesn't go down, I'm not so sure Duke doesn't find a way to win that game.

Either way, State finally looked like the team we were expecting in the preseason. Duke looked good too, all things considered. Amile Jefferson is gonna be the real deal.

Now if Kelly and Curry become healthy, and stay healthy, Duke is still a final 4 team. Amile Jefferson's role will continue to grow and that will help Duke in the long term.

2010, the season unc players had signed with agents before the season ended.
