Glad to hear that abouth Curry. Doesn't sound promising for Kelly. Hope he heals in time for tournament play.

Agree about Seth. He is a real gamer. I thought there would be a post about a injury to Tyler Thornton. If he was get hurt Duke may not win another game. Dude thinks he better than what he really is. I like when Wood put that 3 in jis grill then asked, "what do you have too say now"! Then came a soft elbow from the FLOPPER! What private school or Rec team did he play for in high school?

"Seth's injury was a slight sprain to the left ankle," Krzyzewski said. "There wasn't a lot of swelling after the game and (Sunday) it looked pretty good. He won't practice today, but unless something else happens he'll be available for Thursday."

Curry, who is averaging 16.4 ppg and recently went over the 1,000-point mark for his career at Duke, should be used to be playing in pain. He's been battling shin splints in his right leg since the start of preseason practice.

"He's been remarkable," Krzyzewski said. "You're not here every day and you don't know what he goes through and the limited amount of practice he has. Our medical staff has managed the injury. They've all done a remarkable job, Seth being the main one."

The ankle sprain suffered by Duke's Seth Curry late in Saturday's loss to N.C. State isn't believed to be serious and the senior guard is expected back in the lineup for Thursday's game against Georgia Tech.

Curry's injured teammate Ryan Kelly, however, will remain on crutches for the foreseeable future.

Speaking on the ACC's weekly coaches conference call Monday, Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski said it would be weeks, rather than days before the 6-foot-10 forward is able to return to action because of a recurring injury to his right foot.

"Ryan's is a little more long-term," Krzyzewski said. "He's been on crutches to reduce the load on his foot. We'll see week-to-week what that does.

"We're hopeful he'll be back at some time. We just don't want to put a time out there where he's trying to compete against a time. I'd rather just make sure we take care of the injury."

    Kelly

Kelly is averaging a career-high 13.4 points per game and is shooting 52 percent from 3-point range. He aggravated a foot that has been bothering him since the end of last season during the second half of last Tuesday's win against Clemson. He spent Saturday's game on the bench with his foot in a boot.

Curry scored a team-leading 22 points against the Wolfpack, including a season-high five 3-pointers, but he sat out the final 3:15 minutes of the 84-78 loss after slipping on a wet spot on the PNC Arena floor while cutting in the lane without the ball.

The injury shouldn't force the Blue Devils' second-leading scorer to miss any further action, Krzyzewski said.

"Seth's injury was a slight sprain to the left ankle," Krzyzewski said. "There wasn't a lot of swelling after the game and (Sunday) it looked pretty good. He won't practice today, but unless something else happens he'll be available for Thursday."
