Duke Back to #1 by Monday?

With #2 Indiana losing at home to an unranked Wisconsin club this week, and #1 Louisville hosting #5 Syracuse on Saturday, it looks like Duke could be back at #1 by Monday.

Unless, that is, Duke loses to Georgia Tech tonight. Or if Louisville beats Syracuse. Duke has the weekend off, and will play @Miami on Wednesday Jan 23rd for a chance at #1 in the ACC.

Don't see Louisville losing on their home court. That Miami game is one of two away games I had circled as a potential loss. State was the other. Not saying Duke will lose on the 23rd, but Miami will be a tough nut to crack, even without Reggie Johnson. Kadji and Mason will be fun to watch, though Kadji is prone to foul problems. I believe the game will be decided on how much support Mason gets in the post. If Rasheed breaks out of his shooting slump (hopefully tonight against GT), Duke should beat Miami by 10. Duke will win walking away against Tech. and the bench will get some playing time.

Duke is a lock for the NCAA tournament, already. Your team better get it together or its not even a lock for the NIT.

He only wants to push your buttons and it only works on the weaker minded fans. Just laugh at their future NIT birth, current academic problems, or the 4 looming losses to Duke and the Pack and move on. He won't go away but a punching bag don't have legs either so that's life.

I'd say dook was a lock before the season began with a team full of experience and needing to make up for that poor showing last year.

The young Tar Heels are improving, you better keep an eye out for them. Their not done yet.

The further in the season dook is at #1...

the greater the disappointment...

if they don't win it all.

(then again, getting past the Sour 16 would be a significant achievement)
