78 days until the Masters
Thank God.
Many words can be used to describe last night, one that comes to my mind is JOKE.
The fact that they were number one- JOKE (and I have said that the last few weeks)
Mason Plumlee ever being considered for NPOY- JOKE
The effort shown by Duke last night- JOKE
Every time Josh Hairston touches the ball- JOKE
Rushing the court for beating this Duke team- Biggest JOKE
I kind of figured Miami would win the game. In fact, I thought before the game that they would end up being ACC Champs. But, I never expected the complete curb stomping they received last night.

Miami had 4 seniors on the court and an experienced quality point guard. I agree about Miami not being picked higher. I also thought they should have been picked higher, not 1 but behind Duke and State. I got say I haven't seen anyone play defense that well against Duke.

I knew Miami had the best starting guards in the ACC with Larkin and Durand Scott. What I didn't know was how much the other players would develop around them. And it was one of those blessings in disguise that they lost Reggie Johnson for the last four weeks as it forced them to develop that depth even faster. And finally, it is not a surprise that Larranaga has done all of this since he did even more with less talent at George Mason.

I don't know, Cuss. Miami gave Duke ample opportunities to build a lead. Duke was up 9-6 after missing wide open shot after wide open shot. Once Duke went cold, Miami settled in and had them shook from there on out.
What concerns me is that Duke just flat out gave up in the first half.
I hope that 3 hour practice early this morning got to them.
