It is no surprise that this happened. It brings back memories of the late 80's. A UNC player, Scott Williams, has lost both his parents in the summer to a murder-suicide. When they played at the dook that season, the student section greeted him with cheers of"Orphan!".

Whether the "grandma chant" happened or not, why should any of us care? Tyler Lewis didn't seem too shaken up about it, and it was aimed at him. Besides, he's a McDonald's AA getting significant playing time for a nationally prominent team (albeit one that has hit a rough patch recently, which hopefully ended with today's win), whereas the Cameron Crazies are nothing more than a pathetic, corny nerd circus; fans from every other school laugh AT them. I seriously doubt Tyler or any other player from our team gives one single, solitary d amn what ANY fan in that stadium has to say about them, and there's no reason that they should.

Precisely. There's no reason you should care whether those particular individuals live forever or die this very second. If someone is a disrespectful, ignorant piece of trash, that's HIS OR HER problem. That's just my humble opinion.

Just providing some further evidence on whether it was chanted or not.

I.E., one would not think Tyler's dad would say so if he did not hear it.
