I'm inclined to agree Battling. I believe that the coaching staff has gone over a few things since the BC game. Duke was fortunate, and I'll take it. Duke has coached them up this week. They will be fired up after the BC game.

Yep...they weren't motivated to play BC & it showed. Just glad they pulled it out. They'll be ready for Butler's l'il brother. lol

I read you Battling. They didn't have a fair amount of time to have a decent shoot-around. 1.5 hours hurt Duke against BC. Duke has shown more desire vs UNC thus far. Intensity is a key word. I still see Duke and Miami in the ACC Championship. UVA beat the little Hokies like a yard dog tonight. UVA will be the 3rd team in the final ACC games.

Agreed. I'm gonna go Duke vs Miami in the ACC Championship, with the Devils getting it done.

Bennett is doing a remarkable job at UVA. Haven't seen 'em play much but they appear to be a very disciplined team. Looks to me like they play smart basketball. But again, I don't follow them.

If both teams play up to their potential Duke wins by 12 to 15 but I've watched this movie b4 and you can throw out the normals i.e. Rivers cold blooded three over a 7 footer for a road victory. Nuff said.

I doubt The Flagship will get the benefit of awful officiating in Hansbrough Indoor stadium tomorrow, though...like Seth "5-Step" Curry got last year with his obvious travel that wasn't called before he hit that 3.

Still.........UNC by 35.

Just like his dad's teams, they both emphasize discipline and defense. Tony Bennett does it by giving people specific roles and keeping everyone's job simple. But I think the reason why they have an edge in alot of games is because they have alot of players that have versatility, a la Ryan Kelly. Now they just need some of these guys to elevate their games to the level of Joe Harris. He was 5-5 from 3 pt with 17 points in the first half tonight and has been averaging over 20ppg over the last 5 or something.

dook will be out for blood since they were humiliated the last time these two teams played in Durham. They will come out hot from the outside and build a huge lead like they did against State. Carolina will come back and cut the lead to single digits at some point, but dook will win by 12-15.

I do see Duke coming out of the gates fast and nailing the 3's to build a big lead. Hopefully, Carolina will keep their composure and not get rattled in Cameron. Roy seemed positive in the presser, and that's always a good thing. I think most Carolina fans are realistic in their expectations for this game.

Yes, the realistic expectation is that the blue devils will wax the heels. I thought Duke would win by 15 the other day, but now that Joel James is out for a concussion, that's one less player on the depth chart for the heels. It looks more like a 20 to 25 point win for Duke now.

i predict NCSU will move into 4th place tonite, dropping the heels to 5th
