What matters the most to them is how long they stay in the league. Most care about the money, and that's a fact.

I agree that most NBA players are only interested in themselves. But the truly great ones like Jordan, Russell, Bird, Magic, etc. care about the game and winning championships.

How about Charles Barkley and Karl Malone? Are they not great? Did their careers fall short of Jud Buechler's?

Good regular season #'s get you paid. And that matters to all NBA players.

oh yeah...all day. But, when you are a great player, you know the money will always be there unless a major injury occurs. So at that point, you begin to want rings more than anything.

Henderson: 13pts, 7rbs, 5assts.
Rivers: 11pts, 4assts, 2rbs.
Battier: 17pts, 3rbs.
Brand: 17pts, 5rbs.

Kyrie Irving scored more pts in the 4th quarter (20) than 4 NBA Teams last night. He is 2nd only to Chris Paul as best PG in the NBA. He will almost definitely be the starting PG on the 2016 Olympic team. KYRIE!! Go Duke!!!

Boozer with another double double, 12pts 11rbs vs MIA last night. Thibadeou went on record earlier saying he thought Boozer should've been an all-star. I tend to agree. With Rose out, the Bulls are still playing at a high level-- mainly due to Boozer and Deng.
