We're going to have to hit FTs, though.

Yup, sure weren't no stomp. UNC ruled the first 27 mins of the the game. Even with 2 mins to go I was thinking we were going to be upset. Tough game. If Carolina plays with that much fire in Chapel-Hill .....

Still counts as a loss, right??

6 out of the last 8. Nice.

Thats my fear, Heels NEED to keep it close in the first half, every big
game they`ve played they`ve gotten behind by 20+ early... Gotta stop
    that to have any shot.

That KY player will always wake up in the middle of the night screaming.

The worst stomp was when Laetner stomped the Kentucky player and didn't get ejected.

Throw the stats out the window in this one. It's Duke/UNC!

I have learned long ago to never say never. UNC is inconsistent in most phases of the game. However, they have shown signs and times that they show intensity. UNC will give Duke their best shot tomorrow night.

UNC will be playing with desperation on their side, which makes them dangerous. They are very aware that when they lose this game their season is a washout.

Dook has been playing w/o Kelly, so that is irrelevant. UNC might as well have been playing w/o James, as he has not contributed much to the team this year. As of now, I would say the teams are at even strength. IF you are referring to something happening during the game, then that is a different story.

If UNC loses, it does not matter to me by how many. It will still count as only 1 loss in the L column!

  • Brackettville Feb 12, 2013

This game has the potential to get out of hand (see the 82-50 game from 2010). However, UNC will be ready to play and Duke has the potential to start out flat. Any time you play an athletic team like UNC, never count them out. For that reason I will say Duke wins, but the score could be close.
IF Duke starts the game raining 3s, its over and I call 25-35 pt blowout.

Always remember "injuries" and officiating play a role in close games.

Will be hard to beat that 32 point curb stomping from a couple years back. I have the feeling this game will be closer than most people realize.

if one of our players get knocked out of bounds and a dook cheerleader steps on him, it could be. joel james is our only player that could survive such a thing.
