Apparently the tarheel fanbase is now into moral victories, claiming one after suffering a 5pt loss at Duke. Duke played horrible, shot worse, and still won. That is why Duke is a #1 seed and UNC is squarely on the bubble.

Cant wait for the rematch in Chapel Hill w/ a healthy Ryan Kelly.

In other news, ROY FINALLY STARTED PJ HAIRSTON!!!!! After weeks (months?) of fans, analysts and commentators alike asking why PJ Hairston doesn't start, Roy finally came around. He actually said he "considered the move weeks ago." Well, I guess he finally had the stones to make the move and bench no-shot Dex.

Good game, good rivalry, just another Duke win.

Duke 6-2 against UNC since 2010. Love it.

I knew PJ would start. I told some of the guys here at work that I thought he would. It's been a long time coming and what a difference it made last night! Roy didn't really say this would stay permanent...it sounded to me in his post game presser that this was a 1 time deal...no way. After how UNC played last night with Hairston starting...they need to keep him there if they have any chance to go to the big dance.

Roy should be fired if he's not smart enough to realize PJ Hairston is UNC's 2nd best, maybe best player. There's just no other way around it. It's probably the most simple, clear decision a head coach could ever make. Look at Dexter Strickland, who can't hit the side of a barn, and look at PJ Hairston, a future NBA SG with a much better all-around game. I laugh at UNC fans when they ask for Roy to be fired, but seriously, this should've happened weeks ago.

It's actually a great feeling to know we can play that poorly and still beat UNC lol. Imagine if we played well!

On the change to the starting lineup:

"I started to do it four or five games ago, but everybody's saying, well, you're going to put P.J. in for someone else." But nobody knows my team,'' he said. "It's popular to say who the hell is supposed to be in the lineup when you don't know what in the dickens you're talking about."

He said he doesn't know who will start this weekend. What the....

I say: Paige / Strickland / McDonald / Tokoto / Simmons. That probably makes sense to Roy.

PJ Hairston should start. I agree that he is probably their best player. Look at the box score from last night. Dude was great!

23 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 3 assists, 2 blocks. 6 of 8 from the free throw line. I sure wish he was playing for Duke. He is going to be scary good.

If only they would have spelled his name right. haha

If Roy does not start Hairston the next game I will begin questioning his sanity. He is their best scorer, by far, and seems to have more passion and intensity than anyone else on that squad as well. The comments after the game were puzzling, what has Hairston done to cause Roy to not trust him, that what it seems like anyways.

I think the starting lineup the reset of the season will depend on the the opposition matchups. The lineup last night would not work against Miami and probably not against NC state, teams that have more that one offensive minded big man.

There was no moral victory for the heels last night. You were suppose to win by 32 like 2010.....it didn't happen.It showed that we can and will beat you in Chapel Hill on the 9th of March. This reminds me of the 2011 season where we lost in Cameron by 8 and smoked the Devils in the dome by 14. Congrats on the win but you're not the second best team in the country. Nice barn fire though!
