    No not that you lose in the tournament, but that a two loses two a fifteen. All losses are not equal. You didn't belong in the dance last year. Fact.

    Folks that right there is some tarheel logic at it's best. If you lose in the NCAA tournament you didn't belong in the first place. No reason to actually play the games to decide the champions, just let Mr. Helms award it to someone .......say in the next 12 or so years. I guess the eventual champion is the only one really who belonged in the tournament anyway.

    So having a very successful season and getting a high seed in the NCAA tournament and being upset is worse than sucking all year and going to the second rate Not Invited Tournament? Is that what you are saying?

  • The Honorable JacobSummers Feb 16, 2013

    Way more embarrassing than an nit bid. Losing like that meant you didn't belong in either tournament.

    It landed in a lake, where it sank and drowned. Is THAT a sign of anything?

    Remember, it's not where you start, but, where you end that counts.

    NO, as much as you would like it to. THey are called upsets. They happen each and every year in all kinds of sports.

    NIT=you sucked all year.

    No, NIT =/= NCAA and never will. That's like saying going out with a hot chick and striking out is the same as going out with a ugly chick and getting to third base. Sure you might get some action but is it really the action you wanted and will you actually tell anyone about it?

  • Dreamchaser Feb 16, 2013

    I think that anyone with sense knows that it was a sign for UNC baseball. Skye Bolt scored the winning run.

    Isn't losing in the first round with home court advantage to a #15 seed the equivelant of the NIT? Just saying..........

    Yes, a celestial message in Russia for some team in the USofA is a message from God.

    If you weren't joking, you may want to consider some treatment for that delusional mental state.

    Perhaps this was not just to spook the Russians, but a sign from Almighty God that Duke will rule !!!!!!
