Isn't losing in the first round with home court advantage to a #15 seed the equivelant of the NIT? Just saying..........

Way more embarrassing than an nit bid. Losing like that meant you didn't belong in either tournament.

Folks that right there is some tarheel logic at it's best. If you lose in the NCAA tournament you didn't belong in the first place. No reason to actually play the games to decide the champions, just let Mr. Helms award it to someone .......say in the next 12 or so years. I guess the eventual champion is the only one really who belonged in the tournament anyway.
