I really wasn't referring to Clayton fans. GT has been around the block & seen a few things since their doors opened, well before the Comets came into the picture. It's a Wake County thing that's evolved over the years.

Wrong...You must not have been around much during his senior year...the following doesn't sound like a scrub to me.....anyone else??

From Wiki..."The team's rebounding and defense improved with him in the lineup in 2009–10.[8] In February 2010, he had a career-high 17 rebounds in his first career start against Maryland, cementing his spot in the starting lineup.[9] He was a key supporting player of the team, and was 7th in the ACC with 7.7 rebounds per game (and 2nd on the offensive boards, with 3.5 rebounds per game).[10][11] Per 40 minutes of play, he averaged 16.8 rebounds.[12] Zoubek led the NCAA in pace-adjusted offensive rebounding at 7.8 per 40 minutes for the season and is second in this category for the past decade - only DeJuan Blair of Pittsburgh has put up better numbers.[13] He ended his career 4th on Duke's all-time list in offensive rebounds (276), and in his senior year set the school's single-season record of 145.[14][15] He was also named to the All-ACC academic team.[16]"

Dude i'm white as well, so the race card isn't going to work here. And of course dook has had some black scrubs too. Also, doesn't every college team have 5 or 6 reserves who sit at the end of the bench and only play during garbage time?

By the way....May won a title and was NCAA tournament MOP. Thanks

Funny, how all of those Duke guys you mentioned were white. Is it jsut Duke white guys you think are scrubs or are there some african american ones also.

BTW, how come you didnt mention any of the UNCheat scrubs like May and Zwicker and the 5 white guys who sit at the end of the bench every year for UNCheat.

BTW, are they the same 5 white guys or do some of the graduate and others come in and take their place.

Zoubek is an NCAA champion. JMM is an overrated prospect who should have bounced to the NBA when his stock was actually high and won't even see a national title game in his college career. No one is debating the talent between the two of them, because its obvious JMM has loads more.

  • Harnett Co. HEEL Feb 22, 2013

Correction....Zoubek is just another dook scrub from the same mold as Eric Meek, Melchionni, Chreokee, Horvath, etc. To compare JMM and "Zoubs", talent-wise, its not even close. However as a baker, Zoubek is a beast apparently.
