That's nuff said for a dookie ABC'er, sure. For the larger "outside of Durham" world, the following is the FACTUAL:

The Tar Heels have appeared in the NCAA finals nine times, have participated in a record 18 NCAA Final Fours,have made it into the NCAA tournament 43 times (second-most all-time), and have amassed a total of 108 victories (second most all-time). They also hilariously went farther...way farther....than dook last season (Elite 8 appearance for second straight season.)

Looks like The Taproot (UNC) is more = "NCAA", less "NIT" than any of the other area schools -- quite pleasing to us.

Good thing The Taproot doesn't concern herself with "national polls". We are secure in who we are, and don't worry about what ABC'ers want to believe or lie about.

And yes, Roy Williams is in the Hall of Fame. Not the Recruiting Hall of Fame, just the regular ol' College Basketball Hall of Fame. Maybe _____________________(fill in the blank with your favorite coach's name here)_________ will make it some day, like Roy has.
