after seeing dooks fball record over the yrs, i always thought that they had to be on probation longer than any fball team in history of the game.

HUH? We played @ Louisville (ranked in the top 15 at the time, i believe...they also went on to beat UF in Sugar) last year.

then this year, we open the season @ S Carolina ( most likely a top 10 team).

Dook's SOS is based on teams that were ranked when they played them and no longer are.

It is almost as overinflated as K's ego.

Good point(s). Had Duke avoided them in 2012, perhaps you could subtract two losses and thus, added two wins. Same for cheater-hill. That 8-4 would dwindle to 6-6 real quick with two more losses to CU and FSU. Hypothetical yes, but a valid point. SOS makes a helluva difference.

VT won't have a problem replacing Beamer when he decides to retire. Sometimes, coaches have to make hard decisions. Some are loyal to a fault.

Heck. Battling. I have been calling for Beamer to fire some coaches for 3 years. Had he not done this his arase would have been on the line. No mistake in this one. Beamer was beginning to look like Bobby Bowden. The money still holds true.

The Hokies will burst some. I can't wait to see if UNC with the hurry up can score a few on the Hokies. New coaches at VT will lead us to win our Division. Maybe the ACC Championship.

As the only writer on here from VT, I can write pretty much anything on here. I still have a few loyalities to UNC with my family tree. My blood is thicker than all others. (Fans).

I read the fans on this Sportsfan vs the graduates. I'll take grads that have given some monies, too.

I have bursted Frank Beamer for 3 years now. He hasn't delivered. Three years ago, I stated on here that Beamer needed to think about himself. It came down to the powerful people to give/send him the Big Picture. Finally. Frank Beamer had to fire some of his loyal coaches. His azzzzz or the highway. I know this stuff out of VT vs any on here from the Triad circles. Ol Frank finally was given a true analysis. VT should Kick some azzesses in 2013.

I have ACC tickets in G'Boro to the ACC Tournament. Anyone want to buy a few?
