    ^Well jr...

you should quit watching and just type dookie homeristic posts on wralsportsfan.com...

like Kyrie's accomplishments to date > Vince's accomplishments to date.

    Oh wait..

    Sorry jr.

Kyrie = bad temper and bad sport...

to date, good player on a very bad team...

has a looooooooooooooooog ways to go before matching Vince's accomplishments.

Facts are...well...factual -- face the facts.

Jabari Parker is a well grounded high schooler. His family is in tact based upon the 30-30 clip. So. Parker grew up learning how to have a value system. He will play up to his billing. One of the best that I've seen in a long time. LeBron didn't (doesn't) have anything on him out of high school.

Irving is a special talent and will be so for a long time to come in the NBA, VInce had some good seasons as a scorer and dunker, but all around Kyrie is MUCH more impressive.

No one is saying Vince Carter wasn't good, he just isn't as good as Kyrie. Anyone who watches basketball and understands the game knows this, which is why it is hard for poor kato to grasp or should I say "connect the dots".

  • BlueDevils00 May 15, 2013

Kyrie Irving is much, much better than Vince Carter. VC was a highlight reel and nothing more. Irving a future hall of famer.

    1) The truth shall set you free.

    2) I'm sorry that "jr" wrecked you so bad that you still bring them up to this day, but you have to get over it at some point. Harboring resentment towards an individual this long isn't healthy, although it's not like it can effect you that much considering the sad state of affairs you are already in.

    Not connecting the dots....

You mean like how you think I'm some guy who used to crush you on this website so bad and frequently that you still whine about it on a daily basis?

Or what about how you weren't able to connect the dots when you said KI hadn't made an NBA All Star team? Even though he did in 2013.

Or what about hat time you said that Roy Williams had won 3 National Titles?

Look, everyone knows you are a worthless troll. But like I said before, don't get on here and preaching how you are wity and smart, when in reality you are possibly the dumbest person that frequents these forums.

If you want to keep an open discussion, that's fine with me. I don't mind clowning you for the next few hours. Again, I'm sorry that you are a troll and that you can't accept the fact that KI is a better player than Vince Carter is and ever will be. You may now respond by saying the same stuff you always say because when you are backed into a corner you just regurgitate the same ridiculous nonsense.

    So jr...

Given your assertion that Kyrie's accomplishments to date > Vince's accomplishments to date, please provide relevant comparisons...like all-star appearances, gold medals won, playoff appearances, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    (just for kicks, Vince's 2nd year stats: 27.5 ppg, 5.8 rbs, 3.9 asts, 1.9 stls...AND playoffs)

Parker seems to be on a much higher level mentally than any of the other players coming out of high school this season, excellent court vision for at his position. I hope the high intelligence lends itself to him figuring out the Duke system very quickly and shining on the court immediately.

Wiggins looked at the four schools and chose the one with the best coach that will get him ready for the next level.

It was a sheer stroke of scheduling genius by Self to schedule Duke. Knowing Wiggins wanted to play against Parker, he sold him on the idea of going to Kansas where he could still get that matchup and yet have a chace to win.

    2013 Stats:

Duke will play Kansas in Chicago (Champions Classic), UCLA in NYC , and Arizona also in NYC (Preseason NIT).

Three top 15 teams, all neutral sites. Quality non-conference schedule to go with a much tougher ACC slate.

Should be top 5/10 in SOS yet again.

http://sports.chronicleblogs.com/2013/05/14/andrew-wiggins-picks-kansas/I've always said Parker's game reminds me of Carmelo Anthony. Can handle, shoot with range, post up, slash to the basket, rebound, and play at least 2 or 3 positions.

I agree. I'm just glad we'll have Sheed and Cook to steady the ship. Parker should play with great poise as a freshman, and Hood will be in his 3rd year, even though it's his first in a Duke uniform.

This should be alot like playing Kentucky in November 2012. Kansas will also use alot of freshmen playing on a huge stage in only their 4th or 5th week playing as a unit. But this year, Duke will also be relying on alot of newcomers unlike the Kentucky game where experience definitely favored Duke.

Jabari Parker vs. Andrew Wiggins on November 12th in Jabari's hometown of Chicago Ill.

Great individual matchup but Duke is still the better team. Kansas lost all 5 starters from a year ago, but bring in the #2 recruiting class. Duke brings in the #6 recruiting class along with 2 returning starters and a plethora of talent.
