    Roy has 2-1 National title advantage and has dominated the NCAA tournament compared to K since he arrived in Chapel Hill.

    Give credit where credit is due. Big win for duke. Winning in Blacksburg is something to be proud of. Plus they were #14 in the country. Could Duke play for the acc title? It could happen. Congrats Duke, your program has come along way.

    I hear The Flagship is planning a large 90-year anniversary party to mark the occasion next season. The Swoff will be there, Karl Hess, a lot of Supreme Court judges, Governor Martin, heads of industry, etc. etc.

    Should be good times! (The ABCER crowd will go absolutely ballistic lolol)

    dook needs to beat the "women's soccer school" 8 miles away in football more than once this century if they want anyone to begin to take them seriously.

    1924 was indeed a national title. It wasn't an NCAA title because those didn't exist then.

    1924 was not a national title. Andstill not sure how you take one coach who has not retired yet and has won 4NC's and make it a negative.

    You wish and hope Duke will struggle when K retires but you really have no idea. They will continue to play games.

    Well what do you expect 903? They were fully convinced fedora was their savior. He had butchies recruits last season and did the best he could with them, now the talent is drying up and his inadequacy is becoming more and more apparent.

Most here will do or say anything possible to shat talk their rival, but not giving duke credit for beating va tech after so many of the holes proclaimed loudlythey had no chance is juvenile. There are still a few good fans left.

    Do not forget 2 goal medals I am sorry its 3 gold Medals after he win this one.
    Frank Mcguire was the one in 57.He left for South Carolina. K also won a World Championship. This is after two Carolina grads screwed up american basketball.

    Several = Roy and Dean and some guy in 1957.

    Duke's program has been led by one man for 30+ years who has won 4 NC's and you make that out tone a negative or somehow UNCheat is better.

    Duke had a program before Coach K they were #4 all time wins when he arrived and are #4 now. Carolina was #2 when Roy arrived and now they are #3 and dropping.

    We did have luck the last 15-20 years. Bad Luck.Duke is up grading the facilities and will win 6-8 games a year.You should prepare for Duke just like you would prepare for Alabama.You should hits us in the mouth and take our hearts from the get go.You have to let teams know they do not belong.

    So Duke hasn't been lucky for the previous 20+ years. Seriously, congrats on your one year of surprising teams and winning. I'm sure next year teams will actually prepare for you guys and things will go back to normal. Enjoy this season though.......you guys deserve it after all the heartbreak!

    You have to play well enough to win in order to have a lil luck propel you. Duke did have some luck but they were also focused and physical. Coach Cut is quickly becoming the cream of the acc coaching crop. VA Tech had some luck as well and could not capitolize. Biggest upset of the season in the ACC thus far.
