Whitney Young (IL) and Jahlil Okafor will face off against Apple Valley (MN) and Tyus Jones tonight at 7pm on ESPN2.

Okafor is the #1 Center and #1 overall player in 2014, while Tyus Jones is the #1 PG and #4 overall player in the class. Both are considered 5-star, elite, top of the class prospects.

Yup. He and Tyus both are reportedly "mature beyond their years" just like Jabari. Looking forward to watching this group of players

I have read comparisons to Tim Duncan and Bill Russel. That is some lofty praise for sure. It is not only his size and talent, but his mental approach to the game that endears everyone to him. He is a team first guy.

I really, really think there's a great shot at that! Jabari is such an intelligent guy. He values the Duke degree and the college experience. A lot of top players say they want to stay 2 or 3 years, but I think Jabari means it.

Unless we win the national title this year, I think there's a really good chance of him coming back. I'm pretty sure Hood will leave though, especially if he continues to play at such a high level.

Cook/TJones/Sulaimon/Parker/Okafor, with Jefferson/MJones/Ojeleye/Murphy/MP3/Allen and Justise? Wow.

Can you imagine what this team would look like if Jabari stayed another year?

This may be reaching, but I know for a fact that Debbie Jones (Tyus' mom) is an avid Duke fan. Reading between the lines, it seems like she has a much better feel for where the kids are going that Jahlils dad. Again, it may be a reach but if Debbie is getting her way and is happy (it seems that she is) I feel good about Duke's chances. Given, she would be happy for her son even if he chose Lipschomb State, but the rumblings have always said she wants Tyus at Duke.

    +1

K has a way of keeping top players for several years. He goes into every year having a veteran team while other coaches have to deal with freshmen. They just might keep their entire roster for next year plus this elite recruiting class. That will be tough for anyone to beat!

No one has indicated any of the 3 players you mentioned will be leaving. Parker has said on many occasions he will play for three or more years. Hood will graduate with a Duke degree (he is academically a junior this year) and to walk away from that makes no sense...same applies for the junior Cook.
