Crazy good season (after being a miserable failure for umpteen years) and then returning to the status quo. The only difference is Northwestern actually made a BCS bowl. That ain't happening for dook. Bandwagon football fans enjoy your 15 minutes. You're at minute 14 as I type this.

How'd UNC do in their last BCS Bowl appearance? or ACC Championship Game? or game against Miami? or game against VA Tech? or game against Duke?

Yes, I know Duke didn't make a BCS bowl for going 10-2 in the ACC. That's not a surprise at all. Just like it's no surprise that UNC has never played for an ACC CHAMPIONSHIP like Duke is about to do on Saturday or that UNC hasn't won an ACC CHAMPIONSHIP since Duke won their last ACC CHAMPIONSHIP...

Boy are you typing a lot of CAPS (anger evident). Back on topic. This flash in the pan dook squad will be forgotten. FSU will beat them like a drum, dook will go on to lose their bowl game and dook will get back to being bottom feeders. Let's get real, if our player hadn't of lost his temper and shoved one of your brittle players dook wouldn't even be playing. So say it out loud and say it to yourself, "thank you penalty".

but, if unc had beaten duke, then duke wouldn't be coastal division champs...then they could just make fake rings and play make-believe, kinda like your team did.....oops!

Doesn't change the facts: UNC has never played for an ACC CHAMPIONSHIP like Duke is about to do on Saturday...

Soooooo, why do you care anything about Duke? Oh wait, you're still obsessed with them. Nice to see a clean, successful program being run in Durham. Can you say the same about yours?

The game has only been around since 2005. A better stat is that this is only Dook's first winning season since 1994.

A flash of excellence beats countless years of mediocrity. You can (or could've) recruited any football player in the state with your NCAA minimum entrance requirements and have never won anything outside of those cheap rings you got from a pawn shop last year. In fact, the only thing your football program ever did was beat Duke when they were bad. Too bad the administration in Durham actually cares now. Any football player in this state that actually is smart enough to call himself a student athlete will go to Duke. You can't compete with Cuttcliffe, he's your second worst nightmare right behind coach k. Count on it.

The fact Duke finished 10 and 2 and unc finished a miserable 6-6 does not sit well with you. The truth burns in the light of day. UNC with all the slush funds, wheels for heels, cheating, Swahili classes, no show classes. they are like a marble falling off a table. Their best cheating has now failed. Their paper bag defenses are all hot air. UNC IS a has been and has become a bottom fisher. Duke now beats unc every time they meet in sports. Duke has always been the leader in academics, now they are where they should have been all alone in sports. Maybe you should try and see if your grades are good enough for you to transfer. Then you too can be a winner!
