Again I ask, ...what'd UNC fans do to celebrate their wins this year and last year over Cuse or Duke?

There you go again, little fella, expecting dook to adjust there celebrations based on how UNC celebrates. Sad but not surprising.

I guess this means that the dookies will now only have a bonfire after a victory over Syracuse.

Don't worry, some of the old timers might light a couple candles for you. It'll take a couple games to establish the Cuse-Duke rivalry, so you might get a few more bonfires, but don't expect many Duke fans to hang around for too long...there are better things to do besides celebrating a win when they know it's a sure thing.

It's happened at the right time, IMO. A Duke-Syracuse rivalry is just the ticket to energize the Duke fanbase, who are getting bored with Duke's dominance over unc in the last few years. I mean, how can any Duke fan get excited over beating a program sliding down into mediocrity with little to no hope of ever returning to their glory days? We surely do miss the days of Dean Smith when we KNEW unc would be a challenge. Syracuse is just the ticket. Sorry unc. Guess you'll just have to be "Just-Another-Team" on the schedule.

Give it a rest. We have already given dook credit for a moral victory.

There I fixed it for ya

Duke got Hessed which is worse than getting hosed.

17 to 32 free throws with the two best bigs fouled out and only lose by 2 in OT at Cuse with the largest crowd in college basketball history pulling against you. Not too bad.

. Plenty of time for Dook to catch UNC in the loss column. At least UNC has noteworthy wins.

Poor thing having trouble coming to grips with tonight is just a reflection of Dook over the majority of the last decade - live by die by and mostly dying

We don't measure ourselves against UNC....

UNC fell too far behind, they aren't even in the discussion anymore...well except the bubble discussion...

You dookies really need to get your own identity. You just can't keep measuring your self worth by comparing yourself to UNC. These moral victories won't help against teams like Lehigh.

^^ that is right you will get to see Dook lose that game a lot - why? Live by die by = NCAA flameouts and instant classic losers

  • 903 Hail Providence Feb 1, 2014

^mad that UNC won't be in a game like that Duke vs Cuse instant classic anytime in the visible future

  • sportznutv2.11 Feb 1, 2014

Dook had their ideal matchup, a team that plays only zone - against a team that shoots the 3 at 40%....
tonight they died....same thing that happens to them in their NCAA flameouts....
